It’s getting very hot and dry in Billings, MT already and Yellowstone County has already moved into Stage 2 fire restrictions. We anticipate that we’re headed for Stage 3 restrictions at some point this summer, which unfortunately will necessitate the closure of the Yellowstone Rifle Club. At this point our June 26-27 HBR/VFS match will still be held this weekend, but the July 24-25 and August 28-29 LV/HV matches are potentially at risk of needing to be cancelled.
Due to the above issues, these matches could potentially be canceled due to fire restrictions and could you please contact the match director (myself) prior to making any travel plans to ensure that the match will still be held.
