Where do you live?
Lake Stevens, Washington

How many years have you been shooting Benchrest?
A total of 4 or 5 years.

What is your favorite Benchrest shooting discipline? Long Range? Score? Group?
I like short range group shooting.

What is your home range or Rifle Club?
Tacoma Rifle & Revolver Club.

Favorite match or matches you annually attend?
I look forward to all the ones in Tacoma and I try to go to the Cactus Classic, but not this last one.

What makes these matches so special?
It becomes a big challenge for me to shoot each match trying to get small groups. I love the competitiveness among friends, everyone willing to share their secrets to success, and the stories told at the loading tables.

Which friends do you like go to matches with?
All the Jeffs, Brian, Steve. Everyone that shows up and Jeff Lewis is the hardest working match director I’ve ever seen.

What rifle components do you use (Scope, Stock, Action, Barrel, Trigger)?
Sightron scope, Tom Meredith stock, BAT action, Krieger barrel, Jewell trigger.

What’s your highest shooting accomplishment thus far? (Small group, Aggregate or Grand win, 2-Gun, etc., win)
3rd Grand Aggregate in 2023 Northwest Regional.

Greatest benchrest memory to date?
Anytime I get to shoot.

Funniest Benchrest memory to date?
When Gary Ocock came to Tacoma for the Sniper King. He kept everyone entertained with his stories.

What are your current/future shooting goals?
Keep shooting, try to better myself.

Any advice you would share with new shooters?
Practice, and learn to read the wind flags!
